In 1938 Robert Dolezal moved to Carroll from Chicago, Illinois and founded a small insurance company which he named Dolezal Insurance Agency.  Mr. Dolezal's previous insurance experience was mostly in the life and health business, but he thought that a growing Carroll community would need an agency to sell home and automobile insurance.  Over his career, Mr. Dolezal purchased three additional small agencies, merged with another agency in 1971, and named the new firm Mid-Iowa Insurance Associates.

Today, owners Fred Dolezal and Terry Axman carry on the commitment to quality service and professionalism making Mid-Iowa the leader for insurance services in the Carroll area.  For over 60 years, insurance has been our only business.
